President Serzh Sargsyan was present at the ceremony of opening of the medical center «Astghik» in the administrative district of Malatia Sebastia. The honour of solemn opening of the medical establishment was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and to the mother of the owner of the MC Astghik Alexanyan. The President of the Republic accompanied by the Mayor walked about the area of the newly-opened MC, familiarized himself with the facilities of the new building and with the overhauled old building, with the investments made and the services to be rendered in the center.
«Astghik» MC, the successor of «Malatia» hospital operated since 1965, has been modernized and saturated with up-to-date equipment. Due to high-level medical equipment and skilled personnel the volumes of medical aid and services have increased and the number of employees has grown too.
