The meeting of the Board of International Metro Association was held in Yerevan
Within the scope of the events dedicated to the 35th jubilee of Yerevan Metro after Karen Demirchyan the meeting of the Board of International Metro Association was held in Yerevan. About 30 delegations from the CIS countries and the Czech Republic took part in the meeting. Greeting the participants of the meeting the director of the Yerevan Metro Paylak Yayloyan offered to keep a minute of silence in memory of the Armenian soldiers fallen at the front line in Artsakh.
Paylak Yayloyan briefy presented the history of Yerevan Metro, stressed the importance of holding a regular meeting in Yerevan and wished the participants effective work.
The General Director of the International Metro Association Igor Ermolenko presented the report on the work done in 2015 and in the current year and outlined the achievements and the problems stressing the importance of close cooperation and experience exchange between the companies of the sphere and the specialized bodies.
Within the reported period a number of meetings and thematic discussions were organized in different cities of the CIS. During the meeting held in Yerevan, a number of other reports were made too.
