Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan had a meeting with the directors of municipal policlinics and medical centres. Since May 21, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Health, the citizens who were in contact with infected people and had no symptoms of the coronavirus or whose disease is not acute are subjected to home self-isolation under the supervision of policlinic physicians. The Mayor referred to some organizational issues which make the work of medical establishments more efficient. The Mayor stressed that the approach must be maximal serious, the directors who are responsible for the process must be more caring and more results-oriented.

The persons in charge of the medical establishments outlined the main problems and challenges and presented their proposals Yerevan Deputy Mayor Sergey Harutyunyan marked that the Department of Health of the Municipality of Yerevan is always in touch with all medical establishments, the occurring problems are discussed immediately. All applications and complaints received from residents are responded to find solutions. He stressed that that the principle of their work is not to let any problem remain only on the paper. The Municipality is ready to work 24 hours to show support and find solutions to the problems.
Mayor Marutyan thanked all medical worked on behalf of Yerevan townspeople and on his own behalf for their devoted work in such difficult conditions.
