New cooperation in sphere of health care

“Surb Astvatsamayr” medical centre subordinated to Yerevan Municipality and Children’s City Clinical Hospital after Filatov (Moscow) have signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.

Both medical centres are going to join efforts to implement new educational and scientific programs in the sphere of healthcare. The agreement provides for experience exchange in diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, surgeries will be performed as well.

Yerevan Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonyan stressed the importance of collaboration expansion and noted that it will make it possible to increase the quality of services provided for the population.

“Children’s health is a priority for us. In this regard the programs are carried out constantly. Children’s City Clinic after Filatov is a leading hospital due to its innovative approaches. I think the interaction will be mutually beneficial”, stressed Gevorg Simonyan.

The head of “Surb Astvatsamayr” MC Nikolay Dallakyan in his turn noted that though the clinic had been cooperating for Moscow specialists for a long time, the agreement signed will open new opportunities for the medical centres.

The director of Filatov’s clinic which has a 180-year-old history Anastasia Chubarova outlined the professional skills and qualities of Armenian doctors and expressed confidence that joining the efforts they will be able to safe more kids’ lives.

The event was held with the support of the House of Moscow. After the ceremony of signing the doctors headed by Professor Alexander Razumovsky hurried to “Surb Astvatsamayr” MC to perform two complicated operations.
