The feast of St Sargis, the patron of youth and love was marked in Lovers’ Garden
On the event of St Sargis the Commander Day which is declared as the Youth Day, by the initiative of the Ararat Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church a festive action called “The force of love is undefeatable” was organized in Lovers’ Garden in Yerevan. The RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the leader of the Ararat Diocese Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, clergymen and numerous townspeople were present at the event. The event celebration of which has become traditional is held under the high patronage of the RA President Sersh Sargsyan. Those present were greeted by the performances of popular singers, and the loving couples were congratulated by the horseman symbolizing St Sargis the Commander.
