Taron Margaryan: Feedback with residents is the most effective method of rapid solution of problems

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan held the working meeting with the heads of the Legal Department, Control Department, Real Estate Department, departments of Urban Development and Land Control, Information and Public Relations as well as with the deputies of Staff Secretary, heads of separate subdivisions, staff management unit and tourism unit. Staff Secretary Sergey Makaryan was present at the meeting too.

During the meeting the persons in charge of the sphere reported to the Mayor on the work done in 2017 and the plans for 2018.
In 2017 152.703 letters and applications were received in the staffs of Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts; 52659 phone calls were received via hot lines. 2358 letters were received via social media networks. 140157 issues got appropriate solutions. It was reported that via “One Window” service 35516 citizens received corresponding consulting and about 7700 citizens took part in the receptions organized in the administrative districts of the capital.
In all directions in was reported that the activities are under everyday supervision.
Generally estimating the work done as positive, Mayor Taron Margaryan drew the staff’s attention to providing permanent feedback with the residents.
“In my opinion direct feedback with the residents has always been the most effective method of work from the point of view of rapid settlement of problems. In this issue my position is clear: any issues of public concern within our powers will get appropriate solution”, stressed Yerevan Mayor attaching importance to the activity of “Hot Line” and “One Window” services functioning in Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts.
