Yerevan Municipality has launched a new trilingual touristic website visityerevan.am:

Where to go, what to see? To find the answer a big team have been working for almost a year.
“We regularly published various printed materials for tourists such as maps and guidebooks. However we understand the great importance of digital technology in the system of urban management. So, we have created this platform. We studied preferences and wishes of tourists. We have also created a special logotype”, said the head of tourism division of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality Gevorg Orbelyan.
Here, tourists can find information about the history of the city, the places of interest and recreation, about cuisine and drinks as well as other useful information and maps in Armenian, English and Russian.

The website has got 6 sections with their subsections to provide tourists with detailed information about visiting Yerevan.

The mobile app VisitYerevan will help tourists to walk bout the city, to visit museums, theatres an not to get lost. It is the first mobile app launched by the Municipality. It is operated by Android and iOS systems.
VisitYerevan is an important platform to help develop particularly individual tourism to Yerevan. It is more than a website, it’s a virtual friend that can tell you how to arrange your day and what to do in Yerevan offering tours, shopping and interesting events.
The platform gets updates every day. Soon, in cooperation with the private sector the website will have some news.

VisitYerevan will be operated in some other languages as well. Specialists are sure that the platform will contribute to tourism development and expand the geography of tourists.
