The Abrahamyan family, previously living in a building classified as a Category 4 emergency building on 4th Lane, Artsakh Street, has now moved into a safe and comfortable home.
In 2023, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan handed over a housing purchase certificate to the family of ten. While the family formerly occupied a cramped 24-square-metre apartment, their new home, acquired through the city’s housing programme, spans approximately 90 square metres. The Mayor visited the new house during his visit. 
“You are among the first beneficiaries of this programme, and I am glad to see its success. Challenges remain, of course, but given the scale of the issues we face, we are moving forward step by step, addressing them one by one. We are pleased to have made a meaningful impact on your lives and to see a large family finally settled in their own house,” noted the Mayor.
In total, housing purchase certificates have been issued to 35 families.
