Yerevan Zoo as a tourist attraction
Being one of the best recreation places in the city Yerevan Zoo is also of great interest for tourists. The tourism unit of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality organized a cognitive visit to Yerevan Zoo for tourist companies. During the visit the representatives of tourist companies were presented the new facilities of the Zoo created due to the improvement and reconstruction of the area.
The representatives of the tourist companies walked about the area with their children, familiarized themselves with the services, prices, fed the animals. They also noted that the park is really a wonderful entertainment areas which can become a tourism center not only for Yerevan but for the republic and the region in general.
The tourism unit, cooperating with the interested parties of tourism sector of Yerevan will go on organization of such events throughout the summer.
