On the event of the Day of Maternity and Beauty the wife of the Mayor of Yerevan, Gohar Margaryan visited the maternity home of the medical center ''Shengavit'' and the Scientific and Research Institute for Mother's and Child's Health Protection to congratulate the women who had just become mothers. 

Dear mothers, sisters and women I'd like to congratulate you heartily on the Day of Maternity and Beauty.This beautiful holiday is another wonderful occasion to honour you, to address you the words of appreciation and gratitude.

At the threshold of the Day of Maternity and Beauty, on the initiative of Mayor Taron Margaryan a pleasant surprise was rendered to the little residents of 5 administrative districts of the capital.

Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the gymnasts and their coaches headed by the director of the Children and Youth' sport school of the Olympic reserve of gymnastics after Albert Azaryan, the Olympic champion and the Honorary Citizen of Yerevan Albert Azaryan.

Within the frames of the projects being implemented on the event of women's month the Municipality of Yerevan jointly with the Women's Council of the RPA has initiated 2 programs of social support.
