Responding to the request application of the representatives of the international organization “Autism speaks”, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to light with blue light the facade of the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet on April 2.

The march dedicated to the World Autism Awareness Day started at the City Hall of Yerevan where Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the participants. Greeting the initiative the Mayor wished good luck to the participants who were mainly the pupils of a number of secondary schools especially of the ones which provide inclusive education. 

Another action initiated due to the cooperation of the Municipality of Yerevan with the private sector is dedicated to the Day of Beauty and Maternity. 

Since April 1 about 2135 drinking water fountains existing in the capital have been re-operated. In 2012, within the complex program worked out on the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, improvement and re-operation of drinking water fountains in the capital was started.
