Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Co-Chair of the “Conference of Regional and Local Authorities of the Eastern Partnership” Markku Markkula. The President of Union of Communities of Armenia Emin Yeritsyan also took part in the meeting. Attaching particular importance to the holding the meeting of the bureau of the CORLEAP in Yerevan for the first time Mayor Taron Margaryan said that it’s a good platform for local authorities to strengthen the institutional circles.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Mayor of Kishinev Doorin  Kirtoake who visited Yerevan to take part in the meeting of the bureau “Conference of the Regional and Local Authorities of the Eastern Partnership and in “Local Democracy in the Eastern Partnership Countries” conference to be held in Yerevan on September 18 and 19. 

President Serzh Sargsyan visited the branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in Yerevan, which has been established in the capital. Accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations,

The administrative districts of the capital take active part in the establishment of partnership and expansion of existing ties between Yerevan and European cities and towns. On September 11-16 the delegation of Nubarashen district headed by the head of the district Artur Kirakosyan visited Arnouville, France at the behest of Arnouville Michel Aumas.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan introduced the newly-appointed leader of Kanaker-Zeytundistrict Artak Hanisyan to the staff of the district. The former leader of the administrative district Gevorg Ghazaryan resigned his office in accordance with his application.
