Mayor’s Advisor Arayik Kotanjyan had a working visit to Nor Nork administrative district. Accompanied by the head of the administrative district Armen Ulikhanyan, Arayik Kotanjyan familiarized himself with building and improvement activities going on in Nor Nork,

By the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarine, within the frames of cooperation program between the administrative districts and the RA marzes, the delegation of Nubarashen district comprised of the employees of the divisions of communal services, management of blocks of flats, trade, services and advertisement visited 

I felt deep regret to have known that the Honorary Citizen of Yerevan, Yerevan Mayor in 1975-85, eminent statesman Murad Muradyan had passed away.Throughout his life he was an example of a true patriot and a statesman, who being a true citizen of his country was always guided by the state benefit and national values.

The first session of the 6th convocation of Yerevan Council of Elders convened on September 8 was chaired by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. After the confirmation of the agenda and the staff of the counting board the members of the Council voted unanimously for the draft decision to place the memorial board of the RA People's Artist Kim Yeritsyan at Vardanants street 2nd lane,4.

In the period from August 28 to September 3, 33067 citizens visited the municipality subordinated out-patient clinics. During the same period 471 babies (262 boys and 209 girls) were born in Yerevan.

In August of this year 11250 applications and letters were received from individuals and legal entities in Yerevan Municipality and the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts. 

During the regular working meeting in the City Hall, Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that first-aid post supplying with necessary medicines and materials in schools had been completed. The Mayor instructed to organize inspections to municipal schools to study the work of school canteens and to control the quality of food catering. Besides, it was instructed to control the quality of food delivered to kindergartens.

The UN Development Program in Armenia (UNDP Armenia) and Yerevan Municipality made a principal agreement concerning providing technical support to Yerevan in the issue of working out and confirmation of the Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) of the city within the frames of Covenant of Mayors.
