During the weekly working meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the Department of Communal Services and the heads of 12 administrative districts to make up the program of winter preparation activities.

The control over meeting the norms of obligatory improvement of surrounding areas by entrepreneurs, which is required by the Council of Elders of Yerevan, is going on. This was reported during the weekly working meeting. Correspondingly, 19 cases of not meeting the norms were revealed as a result of inspections. 

During the regular working visit in Yerevan City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan who chaired the meeting was reported regarding the process of prevention and liquidation of consequences of illegal construction and land occupation that 6 cases had been revealed the previous week,

The RA President, Chairman of the Armenian Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan together with Yerevan Mayor, the Chairman of Yerevan Chess Federation Taron Margaryan and the President of European Chess Union Zurab Azmayparashvili were present at the ceremony of opening of the international chess tournament 

On the event of the International Day of Elderly People Yerevan Municipality with the assistance of the social services of 12 administrative districts organized a sightseeing tour about Yerevan within the framework of “Yerevan City Tour” program. The representatives of the senior generation who had the tour expressed their gratitude for making the day unforgettable for them.
