Yerevan Mayor’s Assistant, the coordinator of the sphere of tourism Maria Baraghmyan together with the employees of Yerevan Municipality tourism division met with the representatives of Moldova sphere of tourism arrived in Yerevan with a cognitive visit. The delegation consisted of the representatives of both state and private sectors of tourism sphere of Moldova.
Yerevan Mayor’s Assistant, the coordinator of the sphere of tourism Maria Baraghmyan first of all congratulated the guests on opening the tourism information center opened in Moldova recently, then presented the main direction of Yerevan tourism development particularly in the context of event tourism, application of modern technologies, development of infrastructures, hotel construction, investment programs and international cooperation.
The members of Moldova delegation in their turn shared their impressions of Yerevan with their colleges from Yerevan, particularly outlining the warm welcome. They were fascinated especially with the success Yerevan achieved in the sphere of tourism. Attaching particular importance to friendly relationship between Yerevan and Kishinev the parties exchanged important information outlining the points for further possible cooperation.
At the end of the meeting Yerevan Mayor’s Assistant, the coordinator of the sphere of tourism  Maria Baraghamyan, on behalf of Yerevan Mayor invited all the members to visit Yerevan next year to take part in the celebration of the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation.
