During the meeting of the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan David Ohanyan with the delegation headed by St Petersburg Vice-President Sergey Movchan were discussed the issues related to multilateral cooperation between Yerevan and St Petersburg. The head of the official representation of Yerevan Municipality in St Petersburg Armenak Karapetyan was present at the meeting too. Greeting the members of the delegation on behalf of Mayor Taron Margaryan, David Ohanyan noted that the tight cooperation between Yerevan and the RF northern capital is based on the friendly, warm relationship between Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and St Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko. The cooperation program signed between the two cities for 2010-2020 proves once more that the partnership is effective and successful. David Ohanyan also said that in accordance with the agreement reached within the frames of “St Petersburg days in Yerevan” program, a group of doctors will soon go to St Petersburg with the aim of experience exchange.

Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the head of St Petersburg delegation, Vice-Governor Sergey Movchan noted that there are big perspectives for cooperation expansion between the partner cities in the spheres of education, culture, trade and health care.
