During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to hold local Saturday clean-ups every week attaching importance to residents' participation in that initiative.

The Mayor instructed “Sanitek” company, communal services, corresponding services of administrative districts to inventory the spots where wastes are dumped chronically and the Department of Information and Public Relations as well as Mayor’s Assistant Maria Baraghamyan to pay attention to the addresses outlined by residents on the Internet so as to inform the communal services about them rapidly.
«We urge our co-citizens to join «Clean Yerevan» initiative and ask them to take active part in it. We call everyone to inform us about the areas where sanitary cleaning is necessary though the webpages of Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts. Together we must keep our city clean. At the same time I call all city services to join Saturday clean-ups in public areas and their own surroundings», said Mayor Margaryan.
