The centralized library system of the Ajapnyak administrative district was established in 1998 as a result of the merger of 5 community libraries. In 2021, it was named after Charles Aznavour. The library has three branches.

The Hamo Sahyan Library of the Nor Nork administrative district was founded in 1997. Until 2021, it was called the Central Library of the Nor Nork community.
The library was created as a result of the merger of former children's libraries. With more than 110,000 books, the library is today considered one of the most important cultural centers of the Nor Nork administrative district.
The library has a reading room, service, mass events, catalogs and fund storage departments. It has 3 branches, groups (painting, literary studio).
The literary studio of the Hamo Sahyan Library was founded in 1999. It was headed by the poet Yuri Sahakyan, now Rafael Mejlumyan. At the initiative of the literary studio, more than a dozen collections under the title "Lusabats" were published in the library, 2 of which are children's, 11 are by writers from the district.
In 2014, the library was completely renovated under the development program of the Yerevan Municipality.
Since 2016, the Francophonie Center has been operating in the library.
The library has about 10,000 readers.
The library organizes various events and effectively cooperates with famous intellectuals: Nairi Sahyan, Hrant Tatos, Levon Blbulyan, Serkhach, Arevshat Avagyan, Harutyun Chalikyan, Harutyun Fodulyan, Anahit Navasardyan, Karen Vardanyan, Julieta Babayan, etc.
The library closely cooperates not only with the schools where the 3 library-branches are located, but also with all high and basic schools, colleges, as well as kindergartens of the Nor Nork administrative district.
The library's literary collection is constantly enriched by a number of publishing houses: "Tigran Mets", "Voskan Yerevantsi", "Edit Print", "Zangak". The library also cooperates with the "Hamo Sahyan Poetry Center", National, Khnko Apor, Isahakyan and a number of libraries.

Library No. 18 of the Shengavit administrative district was founded in the 1970s in the House of Culture No. 11 of the Ajapnyak administrative district, in 1980. The other branch of the library is opened in the Charbakh area of the Shengavit administrative district. In 1984, the library is moved to Chekhov 52, a typical building with an area of 220 square meters allocated for the library. In 1996, the library branch No. 11 operating in Charbakh is also reunited with the library. In 2007, due to the major renovation of the library's roof, it is moved to the SNCO, where it operates to this day.
The library serves residents of both the administrative district and other communities.
The main goal of the library is to attract readers to libraries through mass events, book exhibitions, book discussions, and open classes and to introduce them to the literature available in the library and the works of contemporary writers.
The library's book fund consists of 34,297 books in Armenian, Russian and English. The fund is regularly replenished with funding from the administrative district, donations from the Yerevan Municipality and from readers.

The Central Library after Avetik Isahakyan was founded on August 15, 1935, at 26 Amiryan Street, as the first public library in Yerevan. In 1938, the library’s reading room was opened with 1,100 readers.
In 1955, the library was named after Avetik Isahakyan on the occasion of the Master’s 80th birthday. In 1964, the People's University of Culture was established in the library with 4 faculties. In 1979, by the decision of the Executive Committee of the Yerevan City Council on May 16, the centralized system of libraries serving adults in Yerevan was established on the basis of mass libraries, the central library of which was the Avetik Isahakyan Library with 47 library branches.
In 1993, the departments of art, press, foreign language and technical literature of the library and the Av. Isahakyan Banquet Hall were opened.
In 1995, by the decision of the Executive Committee of the Yerevan City Council on December 22, the centralized systems of libraries serving adults and children were united, and the Av. Isahakyan Library became the central library of the unified system.
In 1998 By the decision of the Yerevan Municipality on October 27, the library becomes a methodological and bibliographic coordination center for community libraries.
By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on November 28, 2002, the Av. Isahakyan Library is reorganized into 7 library branches of the “Avetik Isahakyan CL” SNCO.
The Av. Isahakyan Central Library periodically organizes the “Young Creators and Performers” Republican Competition-Festivals, the “Pomegranate Grain” Republican Children's and Youth Theater Festival (since 2000) in collaboration with the “Nakhabem” Educational and Cultural Association, and the “National Library Week” series of events.
In 2005, the “American Corner” was established for the first time in Armenia in the library with the support of the US Embassy in the Republic of Armenia, and since 2008, the “British Center” with the support of the “British Council” operating in the Republic of Armenia. The corners are regularly replenished with new literature, are equipped with modern information equipment, provide subscriptions to electronic periodicals and free Internet services. Since 2019, the “TechnoLab” subsection has also been operating in the “American Corner”.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Yerevan Municipality and the International Organization of La Francophonie, the “Francophonie Center” department operates in the library, which is equipped with modern information equipment, valuable French literature and other electronic databases.
In 2011, the Central Library was the first in the Republic of Armenia to complete the input of funds using the “Alef” program, and the “ELGRAD” system of electronic libraries with 2 subsystems was introduced. In 2012, the library began electronic service for readers /the first of the public libraries in the Republic of Armenia/ and automation of library functions was implemented.
The Central Library named after Av. Isahakyan cooperates with the Central Library named after V.V. Mayakovsky and the Inter-District Library named after M. Yu. Lermontov of St. Petersburg, the Central Library System of the Central Administrative District of Moscow. It has memorandums of understanding with the “Ararat” Union of the Armenian Community of Spain, and the city libraries of Lyon, France. Memorandums of understanding of sectoral cooperation have also been signed with the regional libraries of Lori and Shirak.
In 2021, the Municipal Library named after Av. Isahakyan was recognized as the winner in the “Best Innovative Library” nomination of the “Best Library” competition organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Armenia and the “Armenian Library Association” NGO.
In 2022, By the order of the Minister of Education, Science and Culture of the Republic of Armenia No. 1245-A dated July 7, 2022, Yerevan's "Av. Isahakyan Central Library" Non-Governmental Organization received the status of a public library for a period of 5 years.
The Av. Isahakyan Library is one of the founding members of the "Consortium of Libraries of Armenia".

Library No. 22 of the Kentron administrative district was founded in 1947.
Since 1972, the library has been located at Isakov 4. The library has two bookshelves, one reading room and a service department.
The library's book fund consists of 40,650 books.

Library No. 1 is the only library in the Avan administrative district. It was founded in 1960 and occupies an area of 162 sq m. It has a waiting room and a reading room.
The total book fund of the library consists of 34,317 units of books, which are replenished with new and modern literature every year. The library organizes various cultural events, meetings with writers, book presentations. The library cooperates with cultural structures and educational institutions.

Library No. 5 of the Arabkir administrative district was founded in 1950 and temporarily operated at secondary school No. 33 named after Nar-Dos as “Children’s Library No. 3”.
Since 1970, Children’s Library No. 3 has continued its activities at 26 Sundukyan Street, where it operates to this day.
Since 1973, the library has become a branch of the “Children’s Library Centralized System” (CLCS) “Library No. 5”. Since 1997, the library has continued its activities under the jurisdiction of the Arabkir administrative district administration.
In 2009, the library was renamed and became “Library No. 5” Non-profit Organization of Yerevan Municipality.
The library is a cultural, educational and information platform that provides library and information services to the population, ensures the aesthetic education of the public, and supports the activities of the educational system.
The library organizes various cultural, educational, literary and musical events, meetings with writers, book discussions. The library has a "Book Lovers" group, whose members are actively involved in the educational, cultural, and public activities of the library.
The library closely cooperates with neighboring schools, preschool educational institutions, and colleges.

Library No. 40 of Davtashen administrative district was founded on May 3, 1996.
According to decision No. 29-3.2, the Hovh. Tumanyan (Nalbandyan Street 50) and No. 2 (Mashtots Avenue 1) library branches were merged and the Davtashen library branch was created with a book fund of 22,000 units.
In 2000, the library was replenished with about 17,000 book funds from the library No. 6 of Sari Tagh, and the total library fund amounted to 39,000 units of books.
The library hosts the intellectual groups “Globus”, “Folklore”, “Forsa”, as well as the “Summer Reader” group.
The library cooperates with all schools of Davtashen administrative district and some schools in the regions. The library was renovated with the funds of the Yerevan Municipality.
The library's book collection consists of about 48,000 books.

Library No. 3 named after Okro Okroyan of the Erebuni administrative district was founded on November 15, 1937. Initially, it was located in the basement of building No. 1 on Hoktemberyan (now Tigran Metsi) Avenue. In 1957, it was moved to the 1st floor of building No. 59 on the same avenue and still operates at that address.
By resolution No. 41 of June 7, 2000, the library was named after the writer, playwright Garegin Bes, and in 2004, it was renamed after the Georgian-Armenian poet, philanthropist Okro Okroyan.
During its many years of activity, the library has had many famous guests: A. Sahakyan, Hovh. Shiraz, V. Aramyan, S. Khanzadyan, H. Melkonyan, R. Karayan, humorist A. Sargsyan, V. Abajyan, historian Manukyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences Professor S. Muradyan, H. Khachatryan, L. Sargsyan, actor Yerv. Manaryan, daughters of artist Rukhikyan, R. Davoyan, A. Ghazaryan, E. Petrosyan and other writers.
Since 2013, the library has been cooperating with schools, kindergartens, YETA State College, Chukhajyan Music School and the Children's and Youth Creativity Center of the Erebuni administrative district.
Meetings with writers are held regularly. The library also cooperates with children's magazines, providing an opportunity to publish the works of creative readers in magazines.
The library's book collection consists of 51,309 books.

Library No. 10 of the Erebuni administrative district was founded in 1956 in the building of the railway station.
In 1974, the library was moved to 24 Nor Aresh Street. In 1979, a centralized system of libraries (CSL) was created. The library operated within the CSL system.
In 1986, it was moved to the Erebuni district, a newly built building. In 1997, it came under the jurisdiction of the Erebuni administrative district, simultaneously joining the Children's Library No. 12 and becoming Library No. 10.
The book fund of the library No. 10 of the Erebuni administrative district consists of 37,080 units of books. The library has professional and fiction literature.
The library serves students of Yerevan schools No. 160, 178 and other general education schools, residents of the administrative district. In 2022, the "Kamurj" literary club was founded in the library, founder: Zepyur Sardaryan.

Numerous donations have been made by writers and library readers. The library's book fund consists of 86,177 units of books, including professional, fiction, and children's books in Armenian and foreign languages.

The library system of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district was established on May 21, 1997 on the basis of libraries No. 20, 30 and 37. In 2007, by the decision of the Malatia-Sebastia community council, the library system was provided with 379.1 square meters and 150 square meters of areas from the territory of kindergartens No. 169 and 215 of the community with the right of free and unlimited use.
The library system has 2 libraries: the Central Library and the Library-Branch No. 1.
The Central Library has a reading room, a service area with adult and children's service departments, bibliography and cataloging departments. Work is underway to create a free theater group.
The library cooperates with schools, kindergartens, cultural institutions, the Writers' Union and community libraries of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.
The book fund of the "Library System" NGO consists of 67,911 units of books. The fund is replenished thanks to donations from the Yerevan Municipality, individuals, and readers.

The building of Library No. 32 of the Shengavit administrative district was built in 1946. Initially, the library had one general department, and since the 1980s, two departments have been separated: a reading room and a subscription service. Library No. 32 is one of the most active libraries in Yerevan today. Numerous events, meetings, and book presentations are organized here. The library has native language, recitation, and theater groups, as well as an intellectual contest and debate club. The library is a bridge between modern writers, creators, and readers. The library closely cooperates with surrounding schools, preschool educational institutions, and colleges.

Library No. 17 named after Shushanik Kurghinian of the Shengavit administrative district was founded in the Stalinyan district, in the Chemical Combine's compound, as the 2nd children's library.
Since 1948, the library has been moved to the former Tamantsi, and now Bagratunyants 1st Alley, 9th Building, first floor, the area is 148 square meters.
In 1958, the children's library was renamed Public Library No. 17, and in 1964, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the library's founding, it was awarded a diploma from the USSR Ministry of Culture and named after the revolutionary poetess Shushanik Kurghinian.
Since 1974, it has been the main library of the CSL.
Since 1997, the library has been a community non-profit organization.
Library No. 17 named after Sh. Kurghinyan has a reading room, subscription, reference and bibliographic and children's departments. The library has created an electronic catalog of Armenian literature on its own initiative.
The library cooperates with a number of schools and nurseries-kindergartens.
The library's book fund consists of 63,606 books.

The "Centralized Library System" of the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district was founded on October 25, 1948. It was located in one of the buildings of Verin Zeytun.
In 1949, it was moved to the House of Culture and named the Kirzai Mass Library.
In 1967, it was moved to the Zeytun student settlement.
In 1969, it was renamed Yerevan Technical Library No. 1.
In 2002, by the decision of the Kanaker-Zeytun community council of February 25, 2002, No. 2, the Technical Library No. 1 was alienated and allocated free of charge to the "European Academy" educational complex. At the end of the same year, according to the decision No. 185 of the head of the Kanaker-Zeytun community of Yerevan, based on the need to serve the community's population, Z. In the building of kindergarten No. 249, operating at 39 Kanakertsi, a community central library with its branches was created based on the same library fund.
In 2005, the library was moved from the building of kindergarten No. 249 to nursery-kindergarten No. 235 (now No. 158), and continues its activities at 16a Dro to this day.
The total area of the "Centralized Library System" NGO is 442 square meters, of which the central library is 233.58 square meters, branch No. 1 is 125.31 square meters, branch No. 2 is 83.87 square meters.
The central library has a fund storage and replenishment department, a reading hall and a subscription service department. Branches No. 1 and No. 2 have a reading hall and a subscription service department.
The book fund consists of 132,734 units of books.
