To celebrate the Holy Easter with the townspeople, in accordance with the tradition, Yerevan Mayor Taron Maargaryan visited St Holy Mother church in Avan district. 

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the Candlelit liturgy rendered by the Vicar of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese His Eminence Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan in Saint Sargis church.

The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan was present at the final concert dedicated to the Francophonie month which was held in the music school after Al. Spendiaryan. In the event dedicated to Francophonie month the school participated with its concerts “French music and Armenian national instruments”, “From Rameau to Ravel” and others. At the final event the teachers and pupils of the music school performed jazz composition “Moulin Rouge” in which the students of jazz-pop department of the school as well as the teachers and the dance group “Gloria” adjunct to it participated.

The issues related to the water supply in the capital were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Yerevan Jur” company Rostislav Chapman.

The month of Francophonie school events has been summarized in the Yerevan school N 162 after Siamanto. From March 10 till April 16 in 49 basic schools where they render advanced study of the French language, various educational, cultural dramatized events, open lessons, joint French events were organized.
