The issues concerning the prevention of illegal construction and open-air trade were discussed within the frames of the working conference convened by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan in which the employees of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control, as well as of the service of public order protection participated.

On the event of the 100th anniversary of Hovhannes Shiraz the members of the Government commission engaged in jubilee events, a number of art workers and art loving people visited the Pantheon after Komitas to render the tribute of the respect to the memory of the poet.

Within the scope of the working conference convened by Mayor Taron Margaryan the heads of the administrative districts were instructed to keep the process of implementation of the programs scheduled for 2014 under permanent control. 

A khachkar has been placed in the garden adjacent to the City Hall of the French city Plessis Robinson as a token of friendship between sister cities. 

By the initiative of Mayor Taron Margaryan the employees of the Municipality of Yerevan and of the staffs of the administrative districts visited the National academic Theater after Gabriel Sundukyan to watch “The 40 days of Musa Dagh” performance. 

The son of the famous French film director of the Armenian origin Henry Verneuil film director Patric Malakyan who has arrived in Yerevan with a private visit, is taking part in the cultural and educational program «We remember» dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide by the invitation of the Department of General Education of the Municipality of Yerevan.

Yerevan Mayor, the president of the Council of the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction Taron Margaryan accompanied by the member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the acting rector of the Yerevan University of Architecture and Construction Hovhannes Tokmajyan and the head of the administrative district of Ajapnyak Artavazd Sargsyan visited the Yerevan basic school N 188 after Gevorg Chaush.
