Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and St Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko were present at the concert organized in Northern avenue in Yerevan within the frames of “Saint Petersburg Days in Yerevan” program. St Petersburg groups “BILLY's BAND” performed at the concert. This multi-genre music band has been performing in various countries for 15 years. The concert program united the lovers of blues,jazz and rock.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and Saint Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko laid flowers at the monument to the children of the Siege of Leningrad rendering the memory tribute to thousands of victims of the Siege of Leningrad. The monument was erected in 2015 in Yerevan administrative district Arabkir.

Within the frames of Saint Petersburg days in Yerevan the photo exhibition called “The portrait of past epoch” by Saint Petersburg photographer Valeri Plotnikov opened in Yerevan History Museum. Greeting the participants of the exhibition the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture and Tourism Ruben Hovhannisyan noted that this exhibition is a good opportunity for young photographers to get professional advice.

Within the frames of “Saint Petersburg Days in Yerevan” program the specialists of the sphere of health care of Saint Petersburg carried out experience exchange in municipal medical establishments. Pediatricians, surgeons, resuscitators, oncologists, pharmacists were among the doctors.

Within the frames of “Saint Petersburg Days in Yerevan” program the exhibition of the works won in the international contest of children's drawings called “I am drawing Saint Petersburg” has been held in the City Hall of Yerevan.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with Saint Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko. Greeting the governor Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed confidence that this visit would contribute to further strengthening of business ties and cooperation expansion between the two cities. 

The delegation headed by Saint Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko which is in Yerevan with an officia visit, accompanied by the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan and Deputy Mayor David Ohanyan visited the memorial complex of Tsitsernakaberd and rendered the memory tribute to the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide
