During the working visit to Malatia Sebastia administrative district Mayor Taron Margaryan watched the process of implementation of annual programs. The Mayor visited the sport school of the district where within the frames of municipal program overhauling is being carried out.

During the regular working meeting in the City Hall the head of the Department of Nature Protection reported that landscaping, cleaning and tree decoration activities are going on in the capital. It was also reported that the process of installation of irrigation network had been over. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to carry out more consistent work particularly regarding flower-decorated areas.

The control over keeping the norms of obligatory improvement of neighbouring areas by entities is going on in the capital. The obligatory improvement of surrounding areas is required by the Council of Elders of Yerevan. During the last month 58 cases of breaking the norms was revealed. The mayor instructed to take appropriate measures to ensure meeting the requirement of obligatory improvement.

During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by Mayor Taron Margaryan it was reported that the urban development programs are going on in accordance with the schedule. In particular, the construction of wheelchair ramps is going on in the capital.

Within the frames of the three-month program of events “Yerevan summer 2016”, in accordance with the plan worked out in advance, the actions dedicated to Water fest (Vardavar) have been held in all administrative districts of the capital. The festive events started with the parade of water sprinkling trucks and with washing of monuments.
