Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the members of the choir operating under the auspices of the Armenian church of Cambridge (USA) which is led by Konstantin Petrosyan. The Preacher of the local church was present at the meeting too. Greeting the guests Taron Margaryan congratulated them on the 50th jubilee of the choir. 

From 1 to 7 of July 481 babies -240 boys and 241 girls-were born in the maternity homes of Yerevan. In the same period 31604 citizens applied to the municipal out-patient clinics of Yerevan.

President Serzh Sargsyan was present at the opening ceremony of Radisson Blue Hotel Yerevan complex belonging to the leading world-known hotel chain Radisson Blue. The honour of opening was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and to the Regional President of “Rezidor” hotel group in Russia and CIS countries Michel Stalport.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan goes on his working visits to the administrative districts of the capital to check on the spot the process of implementation of Yerevan Municipality programs provided for 2016.

During his working visit to Nork Marash administrative district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the new chess school being constructed here and watched the process of implementation. The Mayor was reported that the area of the school N 157 which hadn't been used for years is being overhauled and adapted for a chess school to provide free chess trainings for children. 

Being one of the best recreation places in the city Yerevan Zoo is also of great interest for tourists. The tourism unit of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality organized a cognitive visit to Yerevan Zoo for tourist companies. During the visit the representatives of tourist companies were presented the new facilities of the Zoo created due to the improvement and reconstruction of the area.

The results of the assessment and analysis of the work carried out by the administrative districts in June and in the first term of 2016 were summarized during the weekly meeting in the City Hall which was conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan. Presenting the summarized results the Mayor's Advisor Arayik Kotanjyan noted that 

During the regular working meeting in Yerevan City Hall, which was conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan it was reported that the process of renovation of the porches of blocks of flats as well as flat and slope roofs is going on in the capital.
