The regular meeting convened on October 31 was chaired by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. During the meeting the draft decision on confirmation of the five-year program of Yerevan development planned for 2018-2022 was submitted to the Yerevan Council of Elders discussion.

According to Yerevan Municipality Health Department, 432 babies -259 boys and 173 girls- were born in maternity homes of Yerevan from 20 to 26 of October. During the same period 36768 citizens applied to the municipal out-patient clinics of the capital.

During the working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan assigned the Chief Architect of Yerevan Tigran Barseghyan, Mayor’s Advisor Vahagn Vermishyan, Chief Designer Garnik Amatunyan, the departments of External Design and Advertising and Architecture and Urban Development, as well as “Yerevanproject” CJSC to study the international experience and cooperate with specialized organizations so as to initiate the activities for working out the guidelines for external look and convenient city environment of Yerevan.

During the regular working meeting referring to the issues of business environment improvement and investment attraction Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan to form a working group for working out and presenting proposals aimed at business environment improvement.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Defence Vigen Sargsyan who are visiting the servicemen serving in the army in the frontier military units, together with the Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Army of Defence Major-General Vardan Balayan visited “Azatamartiks park” (“Park of Warrior Liberators”), 

By the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the parents of nearly 1600 fixed-period servicemen from Yerevan got another opportunity to visit their sons.

The start of the first hackathon “Climathon Yerevan” aimed at solving climatic problems was given in Yerevan City Hall. The goal of the event held with the assistance of Yerevan Municipality and “Sustainable energy development fund” is to work out innovative and optimal solutions for the improvement of ecological and energetic management.
