During the regular working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan referring to the annual program of yard areas improvement instructed the Municipality Department of Construction and Improvement and the Legal Department, as well as the heads of 12 administrative districts to discuss and submit alternative solutions for the yard areas where in some reason children's playgrounds hadn't been constructed yet.

During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that all necessary measures had been taken to organize the visit of the parents of the fixed-period servicemen from Yerevan serving in the frontier military units on October 22. This time about 1250 parents are going to visit their sons.

During the regular working meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan referred to the information appeared in mass media on tree cutting down in the park of Main avenue between Mashtots avenue and Saryan street. In this regard it was reported that in the mentioned above area specialists studied the condition of the trees and corresponding conclusion was made on replacement of old trees with young ones. 

During the official visit to the capital of Latvia the delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited Armenian Apostolic Church St Gregory the Illuminator in Riga.The spiritual leader of Riga's Armenian Apostolic Church St Gregory the Illuminator Archpriest Khosrov Stepanyan delivered the prayer after which he handed the special medals of Armenian Apostolic 

During the official visit to Riga Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with Riga Mayor Nil Ushakov and the representatives of the local Armenian community was present at the opening ceremony of “Yerevan” park.

During the official visit to Riga Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Mayor of Riga Nil Ushakov. The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in the RA Armen Ghasaboghlyan was present at the meeting too.
